It’s a great game for children and adults. I haven’t spent too much time playing, but from my experience, it’s a fantastic app to get you to know all the countries, capitals, etc of the world. It has an in-game encyclopedia which has information such as the capital, size of country, population, etc. The game is really engaging as there is a leaderboard for all those competitive people like me. To add on, it isn’t overall hard to make you quit from anger and frustration. It has a mix of everything you can want in a geography game, and I strongly recommend this to children, or just anybody that wants to improve their knowledge of the world! Great job developers, keep up the good work! 🙂

For everyone else, it’s put to good use. Generally speaking, your character is on a constant decline. Each mystery is going to take more and more from them, and it’s inevitable that they’ll die from it. The game then becomes something of a race against time to solve Shiokawa’s problems before death arrives to take them. You’re tangibly clinging to hope as things get worse and worse around you, and your protagonist gradually falls apart.
World of Horror is a roguelite role-playing game, built around individual self-contained playthroughs consisting of five different “mysteries” that must be solved, each corresponding to one of five keys that are used at the end of the playthrough to enter a locked lighthouse, in order to defeat one of several possible Old Gods that is threatening the town. The player must do this before the game’s “DOOM” meter reaches 100%, which marks the point at which the entity is summoned. DOOM increases each time the player takes an action, and can increase further as a result of certain events. Each of the various Old Gods apply various unique effects or limitations on gameplay.
Part of the nettle sting of failure is lessened by the dock leaf of short loops. Each run might take an hour, hour and a half, depending on how things shake out. Every attempt at world saving requires you, a nameless young person, to investigate five mysteries plaguing the town, to earn keys for the lighthouse door. Climb through all the floors on the lighthouse, interrupt the summoning ritual, and Robert is very much your father’s brother. As indicated, it can be hard. You can die at any point if your Stamina runs out, resulting in failure. You could lose your Reason from all the horrible stuff you encounter, resulting in failure. The ominous DOOM meter at the top of the screen shows how long you have before the Old God is summoned, and increases with most actions. It can reach 100% before you enter the lighthouse, resulting in… success! Haha, just kidding.
On the other hand, the stories have limited replay value after you discover the endings. Thankfully, there are quite a few of them to go through (22, by my count), which lasts quite a while. At the beginning of each run, you can reroll the mysteries you’re given, so if there’s one you just have no interest in repeating, you’re able to just roll it away.
This isn’t just because it looks like his work but rendered in MSPaint, or because it contains, just, direct references to it, but because of the whole vibe. You encounter face-sloughing-off kinds of monsters and vengeful spirits inspired by Japanese folkloric yokai, but also weirdo janitors doing stuff like turning the swim team into mermaids in a kind of pervier version of Tusk. At the same time, there’s a streak of the Lovecraftian in play to keep it nice and legally distinct, as each self-contained run at the titular world is an attempt to save your town from destruction at the hands of an Old God (they earn the leaden thud of the capital letters). You will fail a lot. But isn’t failure part of the fun!? Imagine that enthusiastic question as a big spoonful of marmite popped into your mouth.

The 3-1 score held all the way until the bottom of the seventh inning, where Tennessee appeared to take control of the game with an emphatic three-run frame. CWS Most Outstanding Player Dylan Dreiling hit a towering two-run home run — his third in the CWS Finals — while Kavares Tears hit a ringing RBI double into right-centerfield. A fantastic relay by Jace LaViolette and Ali Camarillo led to the throw beating Hunter Ensley to the plate, but Ensley somehow got inside and around the tag of catcher Jackson Appel with a nifty juke-like move.
It was a balanced, well-rounded effort offensively for the Gators who saw seven different players drive in at least one run. In the bottom of the fifth, Donay walloped his second home run of the day while Jac Caglianone in the sixth hit his Florida program-record 75th career home run.
North Carolina responded with four runs of its own, headlined by a Vance Honeycutt three-run home run home run, but that was all it would get for the remainder of the game. The ‘Noles got a pair of key insurance runs in the top of the ninth courtesy of back-to-back home runs by Jaxson West and Max Williams, while Connor Hults was sensational in relief and slammed the door with 4.1 shutout innings.
