World War Z Aftermath has been around. The game is based off the 2013 Brad Pitt film (based itself off the 2005 book) and debuted in 2019. The origins of WWZ’s gameplay mechanics was no mystery; GN’s Carter immediately started making the Left 4 Dead comparisons in their review at the time. He also made a pretty poignant observation about the core loop of the game – loads of zombies, loads of shooting, not a lot of frills. Two years later, Henry took on the original review for the major expansion, Aftermath. That expansion added new locations in the story mode, new character classes, revamped melee combat, and a muddled attempt at a first person mode. The expansion also promised this next-gen update we finally have in our hands today, more than a year later.
World War Z is a game that I played on Game Pass a few years ago with a friend of mine and we had a lot of fun with it. The gameplay loop of killing zombies (known as Zekes in the WWZ universe) in incredibly high numbers with all sorts of big guns and explosives was an absolute blast.

Texas A&M on Saturday defeated Tennessee, 9-5, in game 1 of the College World Series finals. The Aggies’ started hot, getting a leadoff home run from Gavin Grahovac, and never looked back. They opened a six-run lead in the third inning and got a solid start from All-American Ryan Prager, who was pitching on short rest. He threw four good innings before handing the ball over to the bullpen, which held off the Volunteers’ comeback bid.

In the 10th inning, Kentucky got big-time contributions from two more experienced players in righthander Johnny Hummel and third baseman Mitchell Daly. Hummel came through with a key shut down inning in the top half, while with two outs in the bottom half Daly crushed a walk-off home run out to left field.
The 3-1 score held all the way until the bottom of the seventh inning, where Tennessee appeared to take control of the game with an emphatic three-run frame. CWS Most Outstanding Player Dylan Dreiling hit a towering two-run home run — his third in the CWS Finals — while Kavares Tears hit a ringing RBI double into right-centerfield. A fantastic relay by Jace LaViolette and Ali Camarillo led to the throw beating Hunter Ensley to the plate, but Ensley somehow got inside and around the tag of catcher Jackson Appel with a nifty juke-like move.
Virginia led 2-1 after six innings, but North Carolina relief ace Dalton Pence threw 3.1 scoreless innings to keep the Tar Heels in it. The Cavaliers received a strong start from Evan Blanco in a losing effort. The lefty went 6.2 innings and allowed two runs on seven hits while striking out four.

As someone who didn’t get into Monster Hunter until World, and then spent nearly 2000 hours in it across a few different versions, I don’t consider myself an authority on the greater franchise but I know Monster Hunter World (and Rise) pretty well. Which I assumed would stand me in good stead for tackling Monster Hunter World: The Board Game. I was partly right, as I went into it with at least a grasp of the mechanics – but I still wasn’t prepared for the level of complexity and detail that Steamforged Games have poured into this.
The crafting system is neat, and it was enthralling window shopping for my future gear with all of its perks. Each weapon has a specific deck of damage cards and once that’s empty you have to sharpen your weapon to carry out any more attacks. Weapons also add and subtract attack cards from your deck unlocking different abilities making them a critical upgrade for future battles. This is where character progression comes from.
Preparation actions include: • Walking to an adjacent node • Using a potion to clear your stamina board and restore all your health • Sprint to another node at a cost of one face-down card on your stamina board for each node traversed • Sharpen your weapon which shuffles your damage deck. Combat actions are: • Walk and Spring as above • Play an attack card
World’s hardest game 2
The music for The World’s Hardest Game 2 was composed by mexifry on Newgrounds, who seems to have completely deleted everything. Thankfully, I downloaded the MP3 file a couple years ago on my old computer.
Level 6 isn’t that hard.Just wait on one side for the enemies to come from that side. Slip through and grab the coins. Turn back before or when the enemies turn back and press the square up against the bottom wall or the square won’t make it. Repeat on the other side.
Undoubtably A billion times harder then the first, some of you know I beat TWHG1 and made a few vids about it, but when this one came out, I threw in the towel at level 19, It was too hard, I was sitting in the corner crying begging it to go away. Not only is it a lot harder but there is now 50 levels instead of 30. Dispite the fact that they posted a video walkthrough of how to do each level, it does little “Knowing is half the battle” you then need to get the skills to mimic it. This follow up to TWHG1 introduces a larger playing area (not really just the balls and blocks shrunk) and an new factor is introduced, A key and door.

With even more challenging levels than its predecessor, this game will push you to your limits and beyond.
