You play as Deacon St John, and although it’s a terrible name, this biker has quite the story to tell. It’s an alluring, although bleak world, with human stories to balance out the horrors of the zombies (or freakers as they’re known). Poke into every corner and you’ll be rewarded, just as you’d hope from a well-crafted open-world game.

I’ve recently gotten into board games thanks to some friends, and just found out that there was an officially licensed MHW board game funded via Kickstarter back in 2021. I looked it up and it seems pretty cool…but is it available for purchase at all?
99% fit the box and figures as the video, the remain 1% due to my Diorama acrylic paints and some figure parts deformed during factory, makes some parts not suit as tutorial. But those are just minor problems and finally can fine tune them~~~

You keep track of what you earn and find, including materials for crafting and potions of which you can only carry three for the whole party, regardless of how many are playing. This and the three-failure system carried over from the main franchise mean it can sometimes be more beneficial to play solo – it’s just not quite as much fun. If you do play with only one or two Hunters, though, the game allows you to bring a Palico that can provide a huge boost for a limited number of turns.
In my opinion, the worst innovation in both video and board game design is the introduction of grinding for gear and that’s a feature in Monster Hunter World. If fighting a materially similar boss multiple times to craft better gear is something that has you salivating, then you’ll probably really like Monster Hunter World.
